Argyle Square is an investment manager providing capital solutions to the Australian commercial real estate market. We are a business built on the value we place in relationships.

Argyle Square is a joint enterprise between the Executive Team and Costa Asset Management, the investment office for the families of Robert and Anthony Costa. As such, it enjoys the financial and operational backing of a major Australian family office.
Executive Team
Chris Moyle
Joint Managing Director & Executive Director
Chris brings more than 20 years of property lending experience from banks and non-banks in Australia and the UK. Chris’s previous roles include Chief Investment Officer at Corsair Investment Management, Head of Property – Victoria for Westpac and various senior property finance roles with National Australia Bank. He has delivered finance for some of the country’s largest developments and has extensive experience in transaction origination and execution.
Rob Altson
Joint Managing Director & Executive Director
Rob brings over 15 years of experience across real estate advisory, valuations, and property finance.
Through extensive experience at Westpac and as a property valuer at m3property and Savills, he has had exposure to all real estate sectors nationally, working with participants spanning small private developers to global real estate funds.
Jeremy Preece
Head of Investments
Jeremy has over 8 years of real estate and investment management experience. Jeremy commenced his career as a property valuer at Savills before moving into the family office investment space and more recently, was Head of Capital with another Australian-based investment manager.
Non-Executive Directors
Rob Costa
Co-founder of Australia’s largest grower and marketer of fresh fruit and vegetables, Robert has extensive experience in the commercial aspects of the horticultural industry.
Throughout the development years of the Costa Group, Robert managed the Group’s asset base and liquidity. This experience formed a strong knowledge base for his current position as Chairman of Costa Asset Management.
Liza Whitmore
Liza is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Costa Asset Management and has been leading CAM since 2011. Previously she held a senior management role with the Costa Group having begun working with the Costa Family in 2002.
Liza is responsible for leading the investment strategy, managing the rapid growth of the business, and engaging with our partners to achieve the highest results.
Investment Committee
John Brazzale
John is an Independent Member of the Investment Committee at Argyle Square.
Prior to joining Argyle Square John was a Partner at Pitcher Partners for 22 years and held various senior leadership roles including serving as the Managing Partner of Pitcher Partners Melbourne for 6 years until 2017 when he assumed role of National Chairman, a position that he still holds.
John has significant experience in advising both public and private clients on a broad range of commercial and taxation issues arising from structuring, restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions. John has specific expertise in the property and construction industry. He sits on a number of Advisory Boards where he shares his expertise in business strategy, growth, business succession, estate planning and general commercial and business matters.
Liza Whitmore
